Welcome to CVGM, your home for game, demo scene and computer related music. We stream 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year for your listening pleasure! This site is devoted to the men and women who devote their time creating some of the best music available in the world!

You can immediately begin listening to the music by heading over to the Audio Streams page, and selecting a stream that's best for you. We have several different streams to choose from.

If you haven't done so already, please consider Registering on the site. It's quick, free, and doing so will enable many new features including:

Personal Favourites List
Request songs to be played on the stream.
Chat with other members in the OneLiner
Vote for songs you like/dislike the most.
Create new artists and groups that don't yet exist.
Upload new songs not currently on the site.
Send messages to other members of the site.
Post on our forums, comment on songs.

Axel has become a daddy again!! In his message:

"I just wanted to let you guys know that I've become daddy again. Little Jorina is 52cm (20.4 Inches) tall and weighs 3770 gramms (about 8lbs 3oz). After 17 hours at the hospital and a nervewrecking process overall (with my wife not having slept for 30 hours, I have to say I'm beat. :)

Wife and daughter are well, and our son is sleeping at his grandparents' place. I'm having a drink to wrap up this day, and write these lines to you friends. Life is good!"

We have done some maintenance on the site tonight, and we have changed the URL's for some of the MP3 streams slightly. To make sure you continue to listen uninterrupted, please visit the Streams Page and connect to the URL closest to you (or that suits your needs best). Thanks!

Migrating To New Server ...10 a.m. - November 16, 2009 (EST)

Hi! Some of the site features will be down over the next couple of days as we migrate to our new dedicated server box. We have been having a lot of problems with our server over at DME hosting, and as a result I have switched all the relays and the main server to the new box.

The new server is located in Kansas City, Missouri and I would like to thank our friends over at Joe's Datacenter for setting up the new box in a timely manner.

I will keep the status of the upgrade updated in the General section of the forums. Once the migration has completed, the streams will come back online. We thank you for your patience during this upgrade, and for persevering through the problems we had with our old provider.

Updated Our Streams9:39 p.m. - November 4, 2009 (EST)

Greetings :)

We have been working on the lineup of our broadcasting streams and we hope you'll find the changes useful. We now have a grand total of 3 servers, 2 are MP3 and one is Ogg Vorbis. The MP3 streams are all 128Kbit, and the Ogg Vorbis stream is a high quality 64K stream which will work well on low-latency connections etc. In the upcoming days, we will try and add a Port 80 friendly stream for our firewalled friends, so for the time being you'll need to be able to use port 8000.

For a list of all current radio streams and their correct links, from the main page click the "Streams" link underneath the "Now Playing" box on the right hand side.

Filling In The Gaps ...7:39 p.m. - August 27, 2009 (EDT)

Please excuse the rubble as we work on populating our database. If there are entries that you would like to see here, then please make a post about them on our forums and we will try our best to add them soon!

If you have some of the MP3 files we don't, you can help us out by uploading them to the site! Simply visit the artist page and hit the Upload link. All MP3 files must be at least 128Kbps, Constant Bit Rate (no variable bit-rate). If the artist doesn't yet exist in the DB, you can submit a request to approve it by visiting the main artist list and clicking the 'Suggest A New Artist' link. Same with any group associations.
